Canterbury Country Houses

Canterbury Country Houses is managed by the owners, Mark & Rosie Mount. They also run a nearby farm.

The Oast (sleeps 8) and The Old Tannery (sleeps 6) are located on Littlebourne’s picturesque village green, and they border the Little Stour River.

The third house, called Ellens Cottage (sleeps 6), is located on their fruit farm between the villages of Littlebourne and Bekesbourne.

All three houses are graded 5 star by The English Tourist Board, and contain all the facilities you will need for a perfect holiday.

East Kent is often passed by, but it is full of history, interesting things to do, and places to visit.

There are sandy beaches at Sandwich and Broadstairs, castles at Dover and Walmer, and Canterbury with its cathedral speaks for itself.

The coastal towns provide endless fascination: the oysters at Whitstable, the cinque port of Sandwich with its Roman remains and famous Royal St George’s Golf Course, the ships and maritime history at Chatham.

The area is rich in excellent gardens, and we make sure that each house has all the details. You can even meet the gorillas at Howletts Zoo which is just around the corner!
